Dear Sponsor:

All of us representing the COMETS thank you for your support.  Last year’s season was once again a great success for the 132+ players that participated.   All of our 13 teams made it to their respective national tournaments representing the Mid Atlantic region.  We won 4 Mid Atlantic Championships and 3 2nd place finishes.  We again sponsored our own tournament in June (23rd annual), with a record 120+ teams from the east coast participating.  Our tournament remains one of the premier girl’s club events of the summer season.

Our mission remains the same, to provide a highly competitive outlet for local female student athletes.  Our program encompasses ages 9 through 17 and our players come from public, private ad parochial schools in your communities.  Over 30 of our alumnae are currently playing at the collegiate level, at such schools as Villanova, Drexel, St. Joseph’s University, Penn, LaSalle, Harvard University,  Boston College, Holy Cross, Cabrini College and Neumann University.  Our objective is to teach the concept of teamwork, the joy of competition and the chance to develop their skills on a higher level.

We are getting ready for the 2011 season and we hope that you will be able to help us.  Again, we are sponsoring an ad book – see attached sheet for details.  This book will be distributed at our tournament and is a great vehicle to put your ad in front of potential customers who will appreciate your support of our programs.  The ad book is our primary source of revenue to support our program; every dollar raised is spent on the teams.  The cost of insurance and gym rentals from local schools has escalated and much our revenue goes for these expenses.

Please support our teams and your local athletes with an advertisement.  An investment in the youth of our community today will reap great dividends for your community in the future.  We thank you for your generosity.  Your donation is also 100% tax deductable.
