Directions to Holy Child Academy

From Points North:

  • Take 95 South to New Jersey Turnpike South.
  • From NJ Turnpike South, take Exit 6 for PA Turnpike (this is the I-276/ US 130 Exit)
  • From 276 West, take 476 South toward Chester.
  • Take exit 9 off of 476 South, for Route 3, West Chester Pike.
  • Make LEFT onto West Chester Pike (should be travelling East on West Chester Pike)
  • Make RIGHT onto Darby Road (Darby will become Lansdowne Avenue) (there is a light at Darby)
  • Make RIGHT onto State Road (there is a light at this intersection)
  • Make LEFT onto Shadeland Ave (there will be a church/school on your left, and there is a light at this intersection) If you get to Drexel (also at a light) you have gone too far
  • Go straight through light at School Lane
  • Take left at stop sign onto Huey (this is the first stop sign and Holy Child will be on your left)
  • Take first right at stop sign onto Penn Avenue.
  • Parking lot for Holy Child gym is on your right. There is also parking along Penn Avenue.

From Points South:

  • Take 95 North toward Philadelphia
  • From 95 North, take 476 North toward Plymouth Meeting
  • Take exit 5 for the Springfield, Route 1 exit
  • Take Route 1 North for roughly 2.5 miles Stay in the right lane
  • At the fork in the road, bear right onto State Road. There will be gas stations on your left at the fork where Route 1 and State Road split.
    (Drexeline Shopping Center will be up on your right)
  • Take right onto Shadeland Avenue (there is a church/school on the corner). This will be 4-5 lights after you turn onto State Road. If you get to the Drexel Hill Middle School you have gone too far
  • Once on Shadeland, go straight through light at School Lane.
  • Take left at stop sign onto Huey (this is the first stop sign and Holy Child will be on your left)
  • Take first right at stop sign onto Penn Avenue.
  • Parking lot for Holy Child gym is on your right. There is also parking along Penn Avenue.

From Points West:

  • Take 76 East (Pennsylvania Turnpike) to 476 South toward Chester.
  • Take Exit 9 off of 476 for Route 3, West Chester Pike.
  • Make LEFT onto West Chester Pike (should be travelling East on West Chester Pike)
  • Make RIGHT onto Darby Road (Darby will become Lansdowne Avenue) (there is a light at Darby)

From Center City Philadelphia:

  • Take 76 West to Route 1 South.
  • Will be on Route 1 for about 4.5 miles.
  • Will cross over Route 30/Lancaster Avenue.
  • After you cross Haverford Road, you will want to get into the left lane.
  • At the light at West Chester Pike, you will go straight, but stay in LEFT lane and get into FAR LEFT lane for next light at Lansdowne Avenue
  • Take Left onto Lansdowne Ave.
  • Take Right at State Road.
  • Make LEFT onto Shadeland Ave (there will be a church/school on your left, and there is a light at this intersection)
  • If you get to Drexel (also at a light) you have gone too far.
  • Go straight through light at School Lane.
  • Take left at stop sign onto Huey (this is the first stop sign and Holy Child will be on your left)
  • Take first right at stop sign onto Penn Avenue.
  • Parking lot for Holy Child gym is on your right.
  • There is also parking along Penn Avenue.
